Can the Mets Add a Spark By Spending Money?
During Sunday’s show, one of the options for improving the Mets roster discussed is the team taking on a large contract from another club. Spending money on payroll never seems to be a problem for Steve Cohen, so why not add on and try to fix this current mess? Even better if it doesn’t come from the team’s prospect capital. Don’t forget they have their own bat contracts (Manaea/Senga/Semien) that might offset some of the spend.
